Posted by julia on 21 Apr 2006 | Tagged as: Real Estate

In the last few weeks Polaris World was delivering its first villas in the resort of Condado de Alhama, in Costa Calida (Murcia). A residential neighbourhood that includes a spectacular golf course developped by Jack Nicklaus, the famous golfer who designs and builds the better golf courses.

The idea of Polaris world combines villas in rigged resorts, with many services managed by the company, such as hotels, medical services, furniture shops, supermarkets for English and German people who appreciate first-rate houses at a reasonable price.

So, this ambitious project starts to delivery the first buildings and carries on the development of more than 40 millions of square meters of houses. The block is called Condado de Alhama and includes three resorts in which currently there are some building for sale: Jardines de Alhama Golf Resorts, Altos de Alhama Golf Resorts and Cortijos de Alhama Golf Resorts.

Currently the builder is planning on expanding itself in Croatia and on creating new projects with similar features for people resident in the United Kingdom and in the North of Europe.

Feel the passion of the Holly Week in Sevilla

Posted by julia on 17 Apr 2006 | Tagged as: Fiesta!

Sevilla is one of the cities which have the strongest personality in the whole Spain. Its holidays, its habits and its way to speak Spanish are distinct and share its fun-loving open character. If you want to spend the Holy Week in Spain, there is no better place than Sevilla. The journey starts with the landing on Madrid and the travel from Atocha station to Sevilla by Ave, which is one of the fastest and newest trains in Europe, without any stop.

Holy Week in Sevilla characterizes itself by the processions, in which anonymously people, sometimes wearing a hood, carry on their shoulders a statue adorned with candles and mantles, called “Paso”. The “Paso”, which weighs some hundreds of kilos, is carried from the church where it is kept during the year to the town hall. It is preceded by a group of Nazarenes and accompanied with a rhythm of drums whose rumble is followed by spontaneous hymns which come from people on the balconies. It is simply spectacular to participate in the celebration, and the thousand of people that attend to it feel passion and a tremendous respect.

When all finishes, the town recovers its spirit. Now it is the time for a dinner and a glass of red wine. These holidays are celebrated in the whole Spain!
