museo-jurassico-en-asturias.gif

I´m taking a trip to Asturias soon and my son recommended we go see the Jurassic museum, I had no idea there was such a thing, but I researched it and sure enough there is an awesome museum in Asturias that offers many activities. I didn´t realize that the Asturias coast was considered the “Dinosaur Coast”, which holds many footprints and bone remains of Jurassic reptiles.

They offer workshops for children where they learn about these prehistoric animals and participate in several projects. I will let you all know what its really once I experience it for myself. If you get there before me or have already been there drop us a line and tell us all about it.

His blue eyes and fantastic smile won over the judges and a few women I suspect..me one of them..in the Mr. World contest celebrated in China last week.

So, all you ladies out there who just needed one more reason to visit Spain, here you have it. I´m sure there are more men like him here, you just need to come and look for them.

The love of Olive Oil

Posted by julia on 03 Apr 2007 | Tagged as: Delicatessen

One of the greatest health secrets the Spaniards hold is their olive oil. Olive oil whose origins date back to over 5,000 years a go and began in the Middle East slowly spread westward and eventually reached the Mediterranean basin. It is well known that Spain and not Italy provided the bulk of olive oil to the Roman Empire and since then continues to be the world´s leading producer.

Olive Oil like wine have their different tastes and both come from the juice of fruit. The main differences in the taste depend on the ripeness of the olives when harvested, how they were kept and how the oil was extracted. Any way you put it olive oil has been proven to be one of the healthiest nutrient there is.

Spain offers a grand variety of oils that can be tasted with every meal you eat here. The rich flavor added to all the food prepared give the gastronomy here a thumbs up to all that taste it. To learn more about olive oil and purchase online visit latienda.com
