Spain will be doing some standardizing of clothing sizes to help in the epidemic of anorexia in this, and other countries. It is a fact that most teenage girls want to be super skinny like the top models that glide through the runways, but this is becoming a dangerous obsessing and something has to give.

Spain is thinking ahead and taking measures to fix this problem. By 2008 they plan to have standardized all dress sizes used by all manufacturers so that women could go in to any shop and know which size they need instead of having to try different sizes in hope that one will fit.

A country ahead of its time Spain is becoming a power house of influence in Europe and will surely be a contender to the rest of the world.
