Montserrat Caballé to perform in Tenerife

The world reknown soprano singer Montserrat Caballéé whose opera career spans decades will be the premier guest star at the reopening of the Sala Teobaldo Power in La Orotava, Tenerife. Mostserrat born in Barcelona is one of the superstars of the opera world having had her first real break in 1965 while replacing the then well know star Marilyn Horne in the stage of all stages Carnegie Hall in New York city and receiving a standing ovation for more than 25 minutes.
The opera world would not be the same without her and Spain is proud to be the home country of this great performer. Her performance in Tenerife will be March 10th at 21:00 hrs in the 1,000 seat theater that is said to be one of the best concert venues in the Canary Islands.
