The Oscars give the Spaniards statuettes

Well, our beloved Penelope did not win the coveted Oscar we all wished for her, but the talent of other Spaniards was recognized at the 79th Academy Awards ceremony.

The movie Pan’s Labyrinth did not win an award either but Guillermo del Toro, the talented creator was very emotional as he watched David Martí and Montse Ribé receive the Best Makeup Oscar as well as Pilar Revuelta and Eugenio Caballero win for the Best Art Direction .

The film which was produced in Spain by Madrid-based Estudios Picasso, and the collaboration of private broadcaster Telecinco is a success in the Spaniards eyes as I’m sure the rest of the world.
