A visit to the Prado Museum

There are hundreds of museums all around Spain you will need to visit but one of the most famous and well know is the Prado Museum. Located in Madrid very near the Retiro Park, this huge complex is the host to many of the worlds masterpieces.
With the painter Goya as the protagonist in this world of art, you could literally spend days even weeks here, admiring not only the art work but the architecture, surrounding sights and sounds. The Prado is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 am to 8 PM.
