Like everything Spain its wine is one of its treasures and Madrid being the capital of this great country is making sure that their wine labels are not only up to date but have the utmost quality since they are a representation of the entire nation.

The Vinos de Madrid website has great information regarding their wine label packaging so that you know what each brand means. For example; Reserva Black Label are wines that have been aged for at least two calendar years, six months of which need to be in wooden casks for white, rose and red wines, while the Gran Reserva Black Label indicates wines that have been aged for 36 months, in which one year of that the red wine is stored in oak casks and 6 months for white wine.
